Pre-Shot: The Walking Dead Episode 4
The Walking Dead Episode 4: Around Every Corner releases tomorrow. If you haven’t heard about the game yet, Telltale games (known for their episodal releases of games such as Jurassic Park and Back to the Future, has been working on pop cultures new fascination with Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead series.
While the game takes place in the background of both the comic series and television series, Telltale has been doing a wonderful job of spinning their own unique experience. You don’t play any of the main characters of the series, but rather, characters that exist in the same universe. In past episodes you have visited memorable places in the story (such as Hershel’s farm) and met one of the characters (Glenn). The game is a point and click action adventure horror game that has kept me, and I assume a number of others, on the edge of my/our seat(s) with the emotional choices, reactions, and scenes.
I’m personally looking forward to the newest installment that is due out tomorrow (October 10th, 2012), especially after all the new questions that have been created and left open from the previous episodes.
